Several weeks have passed since my last blog post, yikes! I’m such a bad blogger! Sometimes life just interferes.
My current obsession is daily Vlogmas vlogs from one of my favorite bloggers, Bettye Rainwater (Fashion Schlub). I love taking peeks into her life and often wish I lived closer so I could get together with her in person!
So, taking a page from Bettye’s book, I’m just going to flip through my photos since my last post on November 19 and give you the highlights, such as they are!
First, a little embroidery detail on the pants I wore in my last post, just because I love them! I so rarely buy clothes in real stores, but pants are a diffculty for me in the thrifts. They’re actually a difficulty for me anywhere, since I’m pretty short. These are White House Black Market girlfriend jeans (last year’s style on clearance).
Next, a trip to the mall. The backdrop on this photo is actually just art painted on the wall, not a real store. I felt festive in this Evan Picone jacket, which I thrifted for $10. It will get a lot of wear this winter.
I wore it to go out Christmas caroling in Haddonfield, NJ the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I’m not in this photo, though, since I run our chorus Facebook page, so I was the one taking photos!
We took a quick trip to Walt Disney World, where I wore the standard Disney tourist wardrobe …
including some Mouse ears (yes, the tag is still on because we snapped this photo before I bought them) …
and took a scary ride on a roller coaster!
Disney World was, as usual, beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Today, we headed out for a bit of Christmas shopping.
Up next, a few more holiday performances. I’m feeling as though I’m coming down with something, so keep your fingers crossed that I stay healthy enough to do some more singing this week!

Oh Maggie, sickness must be going around. Michael was sick today and I started feeling yucky, and hope I don’t get what he has. And I agree about pants. I find it hard, in general, to find perfect pants there. Black jeans have been especially frustrating. I finally broke down and got some on sale at Nordstrums because they fitted me so well, and I just was tired of baggy or too short black jeans.
Your red sweater with the black tie looks pretty classy and nice have you back!
