This is not a sponsored post. I purchased the boxes shown below and am sharing my honest opinion about them.

When I first lost weight and moved from Plus Size to the Misses Department, I was so overwhelmed by all of the choices that it made shopping quite stressful for me. I didn’t like the fact that the variety of clothing was limited in larger sizes, but it was comfortable for me to shop within that small environment. Now I’m used to pawing through all of the clothing at thrift shops, but I still find myself completely overwhelmed when it comes to buying jewelry. There’s so much of it out there that I find my eyes glazing over and worrying over whether I have anything to wear with the different pieces. I’m also just not very adventurous about jewelry and don’t know how to pick out pieces that stand out.

So, enter Tonya (a.k.a. Thrifty Treasures). I “met” her on various Facebook groups for eBay sellers. Where my selling niches are books and clothing, hers is jewelry. She buys jewelry at thrift shops and yard sales and has a great eye for picking out sellable items. She recently began her own jewelry box subscription service. I’ve received two so far and thought I would share them here!

When I first signed up, I filled out a questionnaire geared towards giving Tonya an idea of my likes and dislikes. For instance, I told her that my favorite colors were pinks and purples and that I liked Victorian style jewelry.

She certainly hit the nail on the head with the earrings she sent me. I love the fact that they have that old fashioned feel and I can wear them with both casual and dressy outfits. Also included were bracelets.

Two beautiful cameo items will get a lot of wear!

And then there are the pieces that will take me out of my box! I never wear pins or brooches, but this one was included with my first box and would probably look lovely on a cardigan.

This pendant certainly makes a statement. It measures over 3″ tall!

The purple earrings above perfectly matched a necklace I already own.

And the cameo necklace can be worn frontwards …

or backwards!

So far, I’ve been very pleased with my subscription, and think my thrifted jewelry will give my thrifted clothes a lot more pizzazz!
