Another “frugal fashion” post — today’s outfit was thrifted for under $25.
I started with a basic black tee shirt. I wanted a longer top to go with the jacket, so I searched for this particular one in my tee shirt drawer and realized that I may have a tee shirt hoarding problem. I had six black and more than ten white tee shirts in addition to many others of various colors!
I love this polka dot jacket and don’t think to wear it very often, I’m not really sure why. I like the shape of it with the rounded collar and one-button closure.
I like the look of a cropped jacket with a longer top, but am thinking this might be a little too long,
Minnie Mouse sunglasses and a pink fringe purse completed the look.
And, for a change, my footwear was also thrifted! I was wearing these around the house and forgot to change into sneakers before going out, so this was my first walk in thong sandals after knee surgery. It’s a mistake I won’t make again anytime soon. It was absolutely exhausting to walk in these, and I was the queen of flip flops pre-surgery!

Awesome outfit. I agree that this look could be super with a shorter t as well.
