Whose brilliant idea was it to take outfit photos on the Wildwood, NJ boardwalk yesterday? Oh yes, mine!
We had storms and flooding over the weekend, so it was nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine. As you can see, I wore a black and white theme.
I like this Fashion Bug floral print top because of the longer sleeve which covers more of my upper arms. I also like the empire waist and the length that’s right at my hips. I thrifted this top for $4.00.
The bermuda shorts are a brand called JAG, thrifted for $4.00. I like the length, but they’re a little big baggy. I’m wearing Easy Spirit Darry Wedge sandals that I bought in black and rose. They are so comfortable, since all of the bands stretch. They’re on sale right now on the Easy Spirit web site for $29.99 (this is not an affiliate link).
Michael got in on the fun on the other side of the camera.
I paired the black and white with some dark red jewelry from my Thrifty Treasures jewelry subscription box.
And a purse I picked up at a yard sale for $1.00. After years of carrying a heavy purse everywhere, now that I’m retired I like to carry a small purse with a long strap that I can wear crossbody just big enough for my phone and driver’s license.

This was a cute post and I love, wind and all! We are the same with the bags. Ever since I found a mini RFID card holder from Access Denied, I’ve been carrying smaller bags-not all the time but a lot more, that’s for sure.
